Hello,
I am reaching out to highlight a critical need regarding Pabbly Subscription Billing: the necessity to make the entire application fully translatable. As a French-speaking user, it is essential that the interface and communication elements are properly adapted to our language, not only for user comfort but also to ensure legal compliance and maintain a flawless professional presentation.
Need for Complete Translation of the Application
Currently, several parts of the application are not correctly translated or do not allow for adequate text customization in other languages, particularly French. This creates issues with comprehension and clarity for non-English-speaking users, which can negatively impact the user experience and perception of the application.
Specific Examples of Translation Issues:
1. Currency Position:
• Token: {{UnitCost}}
• Issue: The currency symbol appears before the amount (e.g., €1 instead of 1€), which is incorrect in French and cannot be modified via settings.
2. Plan Description:
• Token: {{PlanDescription}}
• Issue: The token displays “Plan Description” before the actual description. This text is not correctly translated into French, and this translation error cannot be corrected by the user.
3. Invoice Due Date Format:
• Token: {{InvoiceDueDate}}
• Issue: The date format does not comply with French regional settings (currently displayed as “Jun 18, 2024 10:50 AM” instead of DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM). Additionally, the time should not be included in this context.
4. Translation Issues on the Invoice Page (/secureinvoice/):
• Amount Due: The translation “Amount Due: €xxx” is not correct in French.
• Pay Now Button: The translation “pay now” is not appropriate.
• Print Invoice: The text “Print Invoice” remains in English with no option for customization.
Critical Importance of Accurate Translation
A billing application must be impeccable, not only functionally but also in terms of presentation and adherence to local language standards. Translation issues are not just a matter of user comfort but also of credibility and compliance. Inadequate translation can give an impression of negligence and affect user trust.
Request for Immediate Attention
I would also like to emphasize that I am not the only user who has expressed this need. Many international users face the same challenges and have repeatedly requested full internationalization of the application. It is time for this need to be addressed, and steps should be taken to enable complete and customizable translation of all elements within Pabbly Subscription Billing.
I kindly ask that you consider this request with the utmost attention. Improvements in this area would not only enhance your product’s appeal internationally but also ensure that Pabbly Subscription Billing meets the high standards expected of a billing application.
I remain available for any further discussion or information on this matter.
Best regards,
Chris
