Subscription Payment Pending Even Though Card Is Added – Workflows Stopped

Ajith Saleshead Eduflair — Question ·

Hi Pabbly Support Team,

We are facing an issue with our Pabbly Connect monthly subscription.

Our account has a monthly subscription for ₹2,129.90, and we have already added our card and enabled auto-renewal. However, the subscription is still showing Pending, and the payment has not been deducted from our card.

Because of this, our account is now showing Task Consumed, and our active workflows have stopped running, which is affecting our business operations.

Could you please check the following:

  1. Why was the auto-renewal payment not processed even though a card is already added?

  2. Is there any pending payment retry or auto-debit scheduled?

  3. How can we complete the payment immediately and restore our Pabbly Connect tasks?

  4. Please confirm that making a manual payment will not result in a duplicate charge if the pending auto-renewal is processed later.

Plan: Pabbly Connect Monthly

This issue is urgent because our workflows are currently stopped. Please help us resolve it as soon as possible.

Thank you,

Hello Ajith,

Thank you for reaching out to Pabbly Support.

Here are the details regarding your account subscription status:

  1. Why Auto-Renewal Failed: The scheduled recurring payment attempt on August 17, 2026, was declined/failed by the card processor. When an auto-renewal transaction fails, the subscription automatically switches to Pending status until payment is successfully cleared.

  2. Auto-Debit Retries: Automated retries depend on bank processing rules. Since the payment status is currently pending, completing it manually will immediately reactivate your subscription and tasks.

  3. How to Complete Payment Immediately: you can complete the payment throught this link: https://payments.pabbly.com/secureinvoice/5bebc80099059b60562bcc7b/?cinvoice_id=1c74898f6861f21a670e59a334b8d287:954f7f7b9789445dab1b9f981eb07103127c286aa39b228cfa46e9ad5984e4eeb4ad72d182b3fba105563b4fa736cac3e6f75a6c1be87166bb1d752809b0fa95ab7325c37132dbd33be5b6b26d921572

  4. No Duplicate Charges: Making a manual payment for the current pending invoice will not cause a duplicate charge. Once the pending invoice is paid, the order status changes to Paid, which cancels any further retry attempts for this billing cycle.

Please let us know if you run into any issues while completing the payment!

Hi Hrishabh,

Thank you for the clarification.

Before making the payment, I have two questions:

  1. Can we make the payment for the pending invoice through Net Banking instead of the card?

  2. We already have our card added to the Pabbly account. How can we activate/enable auto-renewal through our card so that this issue does not happen again during the next billing cycle?

Please guide us on the correct payment method and the steps to ensure that auto-renewal is properly enabled for our card.

Thank you.

Hello Ajith,

Thank you for getting back to us.

  1. Payment through Net Banking:
You can check the available payment methods on the pending invoice payment page. If Net Banking is available as an option, you can use it to complete the pending payment instead of the saved card.

  2. Enabling Auto-Renewal:
Your card is already added to the account and the subscription is configured for auto-renewal. The previous renewal attempt on August 17 was declined by the card processor, which is why the subscription moved to Pending status.

There is no separate auto-renewal setting that needs to be enabled again from your side. Once the pending invoice is cleared, the subscription will continue with the recurring payment setup for the next billing cycle.

Please also ensure that your card supports recurring/online transactions and that sufficient funds and the required transaction permissions are available at the time of renewal.

You can use the previously shared payment link to clear the current pending invoice. If you face any issue with the available payment methods on the payment page, please share a screenshot with us and we will assist you further.
