Urgent: Incorrect WhatsApp Automation Messages Being Sent in Pabbly Chatflow

Sidharth Parmar — Question ·

Hello Pabbly Support Team,

I need urgent assistance with an issue in my Pabbly Chatflow automation.

I have created a flow where:

  • When a customer makes a ₹499 payment, they should receive a Congratulations message.

  • Immediately after that, they should receive a service offer message.

However, the automation is not working correctly.

The main issue is that even when a customer purchases the ₹999 product/service, they are still receiving the same messages that were configured for the ₹499 payment flow.

It seems that either the payment amount condition, filter, router, or workflow setup is not configured correctly.

This is creating confusion for our customers and negatively affecting the customer experience, so I need to resolve this issue as soon as possible today.

Could you please help me check:

  1. Where exactly my current setup is incorrect.

  2. How to create separate flows/messages based on ₹499, ₹999, and other payment amounts.

  3. Whether I need to use a Filter, Router, or any other condition inside Pabbly Connect/Chatflow.

  4. How to make sure the correct WhatsApp template is triggered only for the respective payment amount.

  5. Whether there is any duplicate or incorrect trigger causing the ₹499 message to be sent to all customers.

If possible, I would really appreciate it if your technical team could connect with me over Google Meet and help me fix the setup directly. I would like to resolve this today because live leads/customers are currently receiving incorrect messages.

Please treat this as urgent and let me know the earliest possible way to connect with your support team.

Thank you,
Sidharth

Hello Sidharth,

Thank you for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear that the wrong messages are being sent for different payment amounts in your Pabbly Chatflow automation.

To help us pinpoint where the setup is going wrong, could you please share the following:

1. A short screen recording or screenshots showing your current flow configuration, including the condition/filter/router step that checks the payment amount.
2. The flow link where the issue is occurring.
3. Where the payment trigger originates (for example, is it coming through Pabbly Connect from your payment gateway, and then sending via Chatflow?).
4. The exact template(s) mapped to each payment amount (₹499, ₹999, etc.).

If you'd like us to inspect the setup directly, please grant explicit written permission by replying with: "You have my permission to log into my Pabbly Chatflow account and review/edit the flow if required. Here is the registered email address associated with it: <your-email>."

Separating messages by payment amount usually depends on how the condition is evaluated before the WhatsApp send step, so once we can see your configuration we'll be able to guide you on where to add or correct that logic.

Given the urgency, if you'd prefer, we can also arrange a call to walk through this together. Please let us know your preference along with the details above, and we'll assist you right away.

Looking forward to your response.

Hello Preeti,

Thank you for your response.

Please find the requested details below:

  1. I have attached screenshots of my current flow configuration for your reference.

  2. The issue is occurring in my Pabbly Chatflow setup.

  3. Yes, the payment trigger is coming through Pabbly Connect from the payment gateway, and then the WhatsApp messages are being sent through Chatflow.

  4. Separate templates have been created for each product: ₹499, ₹999, and ₹1,999. However, despite having separate templates, customers are still receiving incorrect messages. For example, some customers who purchase the ₹999 product are also receiving messages related to the ₹499 product.

You have my permission to log into my Pabbly Chatflow account and review/edit the flow if required. I will share the registered email address associated with the account as needed.

Since this issue is affecting live customers and creating a bad impression, I would really appreciate it if we could arrange a call today and resolve the setup as soon as possible.

Please let me know the earliest available time for a Google Meet or support call. I am available to coordinate today.

Thank you for your quick support.

Regards,
Sidharth

Hello Sidharth,

Thank you for sharing the details and screenshots.

We checked your workflow and the Chatflow setup. The issue we noticed is that the template currently configured in your Chatflow does not match the template being used in your Pabbly Connect workflow. The Pabbly Connect workflow is sending the English template, while the Chatflow flow appears to be configured with the Marathi template.

We recommend updating the template in your Chatflow to match the correct template. Once this is done, the flow should work as expected.

Regarding the Healthy Ecosystem error shown in your other screenshot, this can occur for multiple reasons. One possible reason is repeatedly sending the same template to the same contact. We recommend waiting 24–48 hours before attempting to resend messages to the same contact.

Please make the template change and let us know if the issue persists.

Hello Preeti,

Thank you for checking the setup.

I have now made the template changes as suggested and matched the templates correctly between Pabbly Connect and Chatflow.

However, one major issue is still not resolved.

We have three different products/services:

  • ₹499 product

  • ₹999 service

  • ₹1,999 service

Separate templates have already been created for these products.

The problem is that when someone purchases the ₹999 or ₹1,999 service, they are still receiving the messages that were originally configured for the ₹499 product.

For example:

If a customer purchases the ₹499 product → ₹499 Congratulations/Offer flow should run.

If a customer purchases the ₹999 service → only the ₹999-related flow/messages should run.

If a customer purchases the ₹1,999 service → only the ₹1,999-related flow/messages should run.

Currently, the ₹499 flow/messages are also getting triggered for customers purchasing ₹999 and ₹1,999.

So I believe there may be an issue with the payment amount/product condition, filter, router, or trigger configuration in Pabbly Connect/Chatflow.

Could you please check the workflow and help us configure it so that the correct flow is triggered strictly according to the product/payment amount?

This is currently affecting live customers and creating confusion and a bad impression. Please help us resolve this as soon as possible.

If possible, I would strongly prefer a Google Meet/support call today so we can check the complete flow together and fix the issue properly.

You already have my permission to review/edit the flow if required.

Please treat this as urgent.

Thanks and Regards,
Sidharth

Hello Sidharth,

Thank you for the detailed information. We checked the setup, and the issue appears to be caused by the way the Pabbly Connect workflow is currently configured.

At present, after the payment trigger, the Pabbly Chatflow message actions are being added directly. Instead, we recommend using a Router after the trigger.

You can create separate routes and add a Filter within each route based on the payment amount:

  • Amount = ₹499 → Send the respective ₹499 message/template and trigger the related Chatflow.

  • Amount = ₹999 → Send only the respective ₹999 message/template and trigger the related Chatflow.

  • Amount = ₹1,999 → Send only the respective ₹1,999 message/template and trigger the related Chatflow.

This will ensure that only the correct route is executed based on the payment amount.

You can refer to this tutorial for setting up the filter:

Please note that in your case, instead of using only a Filter directly after the trigger, you should first add a Router and then configure the respective Filters within each route.
