This documentation offers a comprehensive, step-by-step guide to integrating your Airtable account with Pabbly Connect. By following these instructions, you can effortlessly establish a seamless connection between the two platforms.

How to authorize Airtable in Pabbly Connect?

  • Within Pabbly Connect, navigate to the trigger step and choose "Airtable" as the trigger you wish to perform. Select a trigger event, such as "New Record."

  • To establish a connection, select "Add New Connection" and if you already have an existing connection, you can opt for "Select Existing Connection" instead.
  • To establish a new connection, select the "Add New Connection" radio button, click on "+ Add Base," choose the workspace according to the requirement, and then click the "Grant Access" button.

Airtable: New Record (Trigger Event)

Please follow below the steps to capture the trigger response for the above-mentioned trigger event -
  • To capture new records in the form of responses in Pabbly Connect when a new record is created in our Airtable base.
  • Select "New Record" as the trigger event, choose the connection type (either new connection or existing connection), and click the "Save" button.
  • Log in to your Airtable account.
  • Create your "Workspace > Base > Table".

  • Create a new field named "Created". From the dropdown menu, select the field type "Created Time"
  • Ensure that no spaces are included when naming a field.
  • Select your "Date format" and "Time format" and then click the "Create Field" button.

Airtable: New or Updated Record (Trigger Event)

Please follow below the steps to capture the trigger response for the above-mentioned trigger event -
  • Select "New or Updated Record" as the trigger event, choose the connection type (either new connection or existing connection), and click the "Save" button.
  • Log in to your Airtable account.
  • Create your "Workspace > Base > Table".
  • Create a new field with the name "ModifiedOn" and from the dropdown menu, select the field type as "Formula".
  • Ensure that no spaces are included when naming a field.
  • Enter the formula "LAST_MODIFIED_TIME()".

  • Select your "Date format" and "Time format" from the formatting options, and then click the "Create Field" button.
  • This trigger works best when a row is updated in Airtable base entries. For manual entries, it functions as a "New Record".

  • Select "New Record in View" as the trigger event, choose the connection type (either new connection or existing connection), and click the "Save" button.
  • Log in to your Airtable account.
  • Create your "Workspace > Base > Table."
  • Create a new field named "Created." From the dropdown menu, select the field type as "Created Time."
  • Ensure that no spaces are included when naming a field.
  • Select your "Date format" and "Time format," and then click the "Create Field" button.
